Simon Pickett, director of Youwood Ltd, started fitting wood flooring in 1999. He began his own SJP Carpentry business in 2008, offering a full breadth of carpenter services.
Simon’s honest and reliable approach combined with his precise workmanship brought SJP Carpentry to success. Driven by referrals and recommendations from satisfied customers, the company grew rapidly to include design and refurbishment services for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and other living spaces.
Following SJP’s success and growth, in 2010 Simon re-branded the business to reach a wider clientele, and focus on all round home improvement and refurbishment. Recognising the trend for internet shopping, Youwood was birthed with the desire to secure online business.
